Advertising with Flies

There’s no limits for Marketeers! Don’t believe in me? Have look the video from the latest marketing campaign from Eichborn the publisher with the fly, they prepared around 200 flies with an ultra light banner, the banner was attached with natural wax and after a short time the banner dropped off by itself to ensure that no flies were actually harmed in the process…

Complexity of our times

Seeing this today at XKCD reminded me of Steve Johnson book ‘Everything Bad is Good for You‘ and how we’re coping with more and more intricate narratives, involving multiple characters and distinct timelines… and the reason why that implies a change in the way our brains have been changing and the resulting effects upon society as whole..
